Tabs for export as DXF

Hello there, I just testing out Lightburn and wanted to create a file I want to export as a DXF. My problem now is, that after I created tabs for cutting it out with the lasers, the tabs are gone, if you export the file as a DXF.

Is there a way to solve this problem?

Thanks for posting on the Darkly Labs Community site!

You can indeed export a dxf with the tabs included:

  • Go to: Edit > Convert to Cut (debug) - This will ‘bake’ the tabs into a copy of that shape.
  • With only the new shapes selected, then go to: File > Export - then choose DXF.
