I finally had to replace the Emblaser 2 exhaust fan, see attached photo. I also run a secondary exhaust system to assist the built-in fan. This is my first time replacing it since purchased. It has hundreds of hours on it. Removing the screws to get the outside cover off is difficult if not problematic. Screws accessible from the outside would make it easier. It would require nuts/washers inside or pem nuts in the case, but it certainly would be easier and also reduce the risk of cracking or breaking off the staked nuts in the outside cover.
To my question… is there a source/supplier for these fans in the States?
Looking forward to your reply.
Pat
UPDATE: I accidentally left off the materials I have been cutting. Mostly 3 mm birch plywood from a US source called MakerStock, and 3-6 mm walnut hardwood.
UPDATE #2 - Found a fan that is the correct size on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072HJ38PS/ref=redir_mobile_desktop?_encoding=UTF8&*Version*=1&*entries*=0
75mm x 30mm 7530 DC 12V Cooling Blower Fan, Dual Ball Bearing Brushless
Air Flow Capacity 32.35 Cubic Feet Per Minute
Questions is… is that air flow comparable to the fan in the Emblaser 2? I can’t find any specification on the airflow for the factory installed fan.
